The Louisiana Quarter Horse Association (LQHA), is a membership organization dedicated to the keeping, showing, and ownership of quarter horses in the state of Louisiana.

Come join us, we would love to have you. We have something for everyone. Halter, Showmanship, Ranch Riding, Reining and more! This year we have Open All Breed Small Fry classes for kids 10 and under.

We have shows in all areas of the state and also share end of the year points with MQHA. Our end of the year awards are always something to work towards. Come Show with Us!

LQHA wants to help our Youth Members start their college years off right. We have two scholarships that our members can apply for. A $500 scholarship from LQHA and a $500 scholarship from the Dennis Crain Scholarship Fund.
Our Hall of Fame
Do you know someone who's accomplished big things and needs to be recognized? Is there a horse that's made a name for himself through showing or breeding? Well, nominate them to the our Hall of Fame so that everyone knows what they've done!
